Cabrio is an animated graphical front end, designed for use in cabinets but also usable on your PC. This project is still in development, but already includes the following features:
- Animated game selector
- Filtering on user-defined categories
- Setup utility to configure controls (keyboard, joystick or mouse)
- Screen rotation/flipping
Future released will also include:
- Interface customisation/skinning
- Game list generation
Cabrio it is written using SDL and OpenGL and, although developed primarily on Linux, a basic Windows version is also available. The project is made available under the GNU General Public License, meaning anyone can freely download the source code and even contribute to development.
