Cabrio is an animated graphical front end, designed for use in cabinets but also usable on your PC. This project is in the beta phase, but already includes the following features:
- Animated game selector
- Filtering on user-defined categories
- Video snaps
- Interface customisation/skinning
- Multiple emulators/platforms
- Setup utility to configure controls (keyboard, joystick or mouse)
- Screen rotation/flipping
Cabrio it is written using SDL and OpenGL and, although developed primarily on Linux, a Windows version is also available. The project is made available under the GNU General Public License, meaning anyone can freely download the source code and even contribute to development.
